Changes in Workflow Process for the GAIL User Access Request Form

Be on the lookout for a new, updated GAIL user access request form!  Coming soon!

While all components of the form will remain the same, the order in which the form gets signed and processed will be changing.  UGA supervisors will now initiate the request forms for their new employees.

All employees seeking to use the GAIL alumni and donor database system must complete a user access request form along with completing 3 other steps prior to receiving access. The form must be signed by the direct supervisor of the new employee, as listed in OneSource. Access is granted during a GAIL 101 class that you can register for here. Access is not granted prior to attending a GAIL 101 class.

The mission for, and purpose of, GAIL is to support fundraising, and alumni and donor engagement.

If you are employing student workers, grad assistants, interns or other temporary staff, please review this article which outlines the tasks that temporary employees are eligible for conducting using the GAIL database system.

The top portion of the document will remain the same, which contains vital information as to the access agreement and policies around using the GAIL alumni and donor database system.

It is always encouraged that you familiarize yourself with the policies for receiving access and proper usage of the GAIL database system, and specifically, the data it contains.
