Search Birthdates using the Constituent Search (Custom)
You can now search constituents’ birthdates in the Constituents Search (Custom) tool. This feature was added by our Advancement It Application Development team in June.
How to access the Birthday Search Feature:
From the GAIL Constituents functional area page, click the Constituent custom search underneath the Constituents header in the upper left of your page. Alternatively, you can change the search drop down at the top of the page to Constituents (custom).
How it works:
You can use birthdate information to narrow your search results. Please note that this search has to be an exact match with the constituent’s record. For example, if the constituents birthdate in GAIL is listed as April 21, 1996, only 04/21/1996 will return the constituent. Alternatively, if the record is 04/1996 (If we don’t have a day, only month and year) and you search 04/21/1996, the search will not return the constituent.
