Introducing UGAF@Work, UGA Foundation’s new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

The University of Georgia Foundation is embarking on an exciting journey to modernize and streamline our financial and operational processes with the implementation of UGAF@Work, our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This transformation will replace our current financial system, FAME, and aligns with our commitment to operational excellence and enhanced efficiency.

The need for a new financial system has been on the horizon for quite some time and was identified as a priority in the fiscal year 2023 UGA Foundation strategic plan. A system selection team was identified in October 2023, and a Request for Proposal (RFP) process commenced at that time to identify the new system. Workday was selected as the preferred ERP vendor in June 2024.

The Workday implementation will achieve operational efficiency, foster open communication, ensure financial compliance, and improve outcomes by developing an empowered workforce with access to timely and accurate data resulting in continued donor confidence and supporting future growth initiatives.
