Errors with Package Codes

Update:  A solution is now in place that once again allows the system to auto-populate the next 3 character Package Code in sequence when a new Package is created. If you are re-using an existing Package, it can now appear as “XXX-Package” or as “Package (Deprecated)” and give you an error message. To fix this, just edit your Package itself, select “Package Code” from the drop down menu for Package Code and hit the tab key, this will prompt GAIL to auto-populate a new 3 character code. Save the changes and you can proceed with your typical next steps. If you still get an error message,  please reach out to askit@uga.edu and the team will provide a code that you can manually enter (instead of the autogenerated value) to continue with your efforts.
