BBIS Automated Email Capabilities
If you’re not familiar with BBIS, you’re not alone. BBIS is another communication module in GAIL (in addition to marketing efforts and event invitations) that can be used to send emails based on queries. A distinguishing feature of BBIS is the ability to set up recurring, automated emails. Multiple teams are already utilizing this feature for scheduled emails such as:
- First time donor emails
- 1961 Club welcome emails
- PAW Society email to faculty/staff upon their first gift of the fiscal year
- Emails encouraging constituents whose last known mailing address is set to “Do Not Mail” to update their address
