UGA alumni portal

The new process to sign up for the UGA alumni portal accounts is going to be streamlined for users for whom we already have a valid email account. The existing process to create a new account can take up to three days (because of weekends), which doesn’t meet users’ expectations. The new process will allow for an account to be created and verified within minutes, assuming that we have a valid email address for them.

The alumni portal currently offers the following features to users with accounts:

• Alumni Directory (only for UGA Alumni, Staff, Faculty, and UGAF Trustees)
• View Gift History
• Simplified ability to register for events and make donations
• Leave class notes
• Update your information

Once the streamlined process is in place, it is more feasible to create some BBIS Event Registration Pages that can only be accessed by a select group of individuals.
