Two New Reports: GL Query & Current Year Expenditure

We’ve got two new reports in ONESolution that you can now run: the GL Query (Flutter) Report and the Current Year Expenditure Report. Read on to find out what each report does, where to find it, and then give it a go to see if can enhance the work you’re doing!

GL Query (Flutter Report)

This report is available under the General Reports tab. It is a direct-to-Excel, opened ended query report that shows detailed transactional information. Essentially every transaction that has hit your fund! This report works great with using Excel organizational tools to analyze financial data. You can run it for all transactions, or limit the search criteria dependent upon your needs.

Note: If you would like to create a pivot table of the output, you will need to save the file to your computer first.

Current Year Expenditure Report (with Excel Output)

This report is available under the General Reports tab. It is a direct-to-Excel report that shows current cash balance, spending budget (if applicable), summary expense data, and investment appreciation for endowments. Please note, the current cash balance captures all expenses to date, along with spending budgets, transfers, beginning cash etc. The current cash is the amount available to spend. If you are running the report for a prior day, please use the end of the prior month for most accurate results. If you are running for the current month, please use the current day.
