Network Maintenance Window - June 23rd at 5:10PM

We continue to work with UGA’s Network Engineering team after our outage yesterday and we are planning a network maintenance window for DAR’s Boyd hosted services tomorrow (Thursday 6/23) from 5:10pm until 6:30pm.  This maintenance window will be used to try and replicate what transpired yesterday and if we can replicate, (hopefully) adjust some configurations to correct the root issue.  If we can’t replicate the issue, we still need the maintenance window to remove some duct tape (metaphorically speaking) that got put in place yesterday as the teams worked to get us operational again.

DAR enterprise services that will be unavailable during this maintenance window include FAME, GAIL, DAR file shares, DAR websites (online giving, event registration, Career Center, dar.uga.edu) and printing services.  This maintenance window will not impact network connectivity to UGA email, telephone services,  OneSource, OneUSGConnect, or connectivity for anything outside of DAR enterprise systems.

We apologize for the short notice concerning an outage, but attempting to prevent another unexpected outage like we experienced yesterday is a priority.
