DAR Enterprise System Maintenance - Monday September 20, 5-7PM

Please plan for a disruption to all DAR enterprise IT services on Monday September 20 from 5pm-7pm as we transition our Boyd data center server stack to the new UGA 10gb network infrastructure.

Availability of FAME, GAIL, DAR file shares, and all DAR hosted websites (including on-line giving) will be impacted during this maintenance window. 

This effort had previously been scheduled in early August before UGA classes started but shipping delays for some equipment impacted that schedule. This is a coordinated effort that includes DAR IT, UGA Network Operations, UGA Network Engineering, and UGA Information Security with each team responsible for some aspect of the transition (physical or logical), so we are scheduling a 2 hour maintenance window just in case issues arise and we need time to troubleshooting problems.  This effort must be completed prior to the previously announced large scale UGA network maintenance occurring on October 23.
